UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, THE ATR RACE WEEKEND HAS BEEN CANCELLED!
The race will start at 153 N. Fork River Rd in Balsam Grove NC and race to Lake Logan in Jackson County. The first mile is flat, followed by a 7 mile climb, followed by a 11 mile descent and the last mile is flat to beautiful Lake Logan. At Lake Logan, riders will be u-turned and return back to the finish. There will be a KING and QUEEN of the Mountain for cool prizes and overall winners! The race is 40 miles. There is a shorter race of 18 miles. The leaf change and views this time of year make this a, "I've got to try this race" event... best 2 climbs in WNC with 50mph descents!
